How It All Began
Walm investment Group was founded in 2020, the year of the COVID19 pandemic. We saw the economy was struggling due to the lockdown of people and businesses. We saw an opportunity to step-in and reorganize our management and invest in companies that are smart but didn’t have the cashflow to grow. Already, we have developed a rich network of global business partners. We make early and transformational investments in companies that have the potential to prosper in MENA region and do great things. Our dedicated team is made up of seasoned investors who are looking to partner with hard-working, visionary entrepreneurs.

President, Walm Investment Group (since ~2020) Oversees strategic direction and operations of the group, which includes a contracting company, marina management, and a marine parts showroom. The group focuses on early and transformational investments in companies with high growth potential in the MENA region.

Omar Alromaithi is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse portfolio of leadership roles. Currently serving as the President of Walm Investment Group, he oversees the strategic direction and operations of the group, which includes a contracting company, Marina Management, and a marine parts showroom. He graduated from The University of Tampa with a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) and holds a certification in Leadership and Management from Harvard Business School Online.
In addition to his role at Walm Investment Group, Omar Alromaithi serves as a board member at Gulf Navigation PJSC, a prominent maritime and shipping company, and Takaful Emarat Insurance, a well-established insurance company. His expertise and insights contribute to the growth and success of these organizations.
With his academic background and professional certifications, Omar Alromaithi brings a well-rounded skill set to his leadership roles. His commitment to continuous learning and his extensive experience in contracting, maritime, and insurance sectors make him a valuable asset in driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence in the organizations he is involved with.
